The Birth of a Nation

An Extraordinary Exhibition

The Birth of a Nation Exhibition incorporating the evolution of the Irish Nationhood 1641 – 1916 was one of those one in a lifetime briefs, that we were privileged to have worked on. The brain child of curator Brian Walsh of Dundalk County Museum, this exhibition brought together some of the finest collections of Irish history in one single exhibition. From original letters, signed publications, maps, documents and art spanning the last 400 years, and depicting some of the most influential figures and events in Irish history, including an original copy of the Irish Proclamation, this exhibition is an incredible record of changing times for the Irish Nation and an acknowledgement of the men and women who shaped that change and those who gave their lives for that fight for Independence.
